Good point. I never think myself as J2EE fan. It's just a computer languange. Slow or fast, depend on the person who write the code, we all know this and some of us make $ by improving other's code. Every one know java slower, compare to C/C++. Every one know Window is slower compare to Unix. Does .Net have better performance than C? Or does .Net have some good feature besides the performance? Try compare MTS vs. Tuxedo or IDE ----- Original Message ----- From: "Qiang Bai" <qbai@hotmail.com> To: <qiudichen@hotmail.com>; <johndong@microsoft.com>; <dragon@ez.swmed.edu> Sent: Thursday, October 25, 2001 10:53 AM Subject: Re: 10th League Sunday game: 12:30pm at Highpoint E, Plano > Definitely agree with Da Gang, being a J2EE guy myself. > > And, remember the story of Win 95 vs IBM OS2? > > But, one more thing is: > I never feel super proud of what I am doing, or which firm/client > I am with -- be it microsoft, bank of American or some anonymous > small firm, $ is $. > > To me, J2EE or .Net is just a way of technology to conduct business. > And to us, a way to make $. > > If people are so concerned with "performance", then, the best > is to go back to school and try to be a researcher -- but, even > in that case, I doubt it makes any sense. > > Don't forget: Sooner or later, J2EE and .Net will be gone, replaced, > ... > > > > > >From: David Chen <qiudichen@hotmail.com> > >Reply-To: David Chen <qiudichen@hotmail.com> > >To: John Dong <johndong@microsoft.com>, "Dragon (E-mail)" > ><dragon@ez.swmed.edu> > >Subject: Re: 10th League Sunday game: 12:30pm at Highpoint E, Plano > >Date: Thu, 25 Oct 2001 10:44:08 -0500 > > > >Excellent.
