Don,

Did wish you were there. We needed all the legs we could find
in the last game, and if we would have gotten yours, we might be
likely playing the Tigers for the champion instead of Mud:-)

The Mud surprised me with their endurance, we did give them a run
for money in the 2nd half of the semi game, so their starters
shouldn't gotten much of the rest. I believe their #10 bob played
most of the 2nd half as well. I wish I had seen the championship game,
but I was on the way to the beach way before the game started:-)

Did Mud also train every week? They did play solid team games. Though
my pal Xiao Han had lost a step over the years, but he was playing well
at the corner; He, Jian played solid defense, I also saw old Michiganian
Xie,Ping is still running after all these years. Dallas origin, Richard,
played well also while replacing Xiao Han at left corner.

I think our team has the potential, but we had a slow start due to many
key players had never/for a long time played together(we got better
playing as a team as the tournament goes). The lessons learned are

   - imporving endurance, nothing more to say on that, at our age,
we won't get better on our speed/agility than we're now,
and likely will become only slower, but endurance is some we can
add on with some regular exercises
   - playing better passing game, anyone who was in the tournament
would know what that means, just notice all the open spaces that
enabled Chinatown and Tiger teams to pass their ways through
mid-field as no one there, the same was true in the games with Mud,
only that Chinatown didn't have good forward(s) who could score.

So, when you get a chance, help us to recruit some Bob like players
over there, and the commission rate is negotiatable:-)

Hope you will visit back Dallas soon!

Tom
