All, Team Dallas Dragon is in 3rd place! What a team!! What two days in LA!!! (1st place is taken by Mud, 2nd by Tigers.) Personally I am really thrilled about and encouraged by the team's fighting spirit. We win/loose as a team. To be frank with you, I think I am excited and still in a 'tournament' (fighting) mode even today! Team Work ======== All player showed excellent team work. That is what made our team so successful. Huan Li, Qian Bai, Ken Li, Chen Zhang, Jet Chang etc., just name a few. We also have players with great passions like Eric Zhang, Dick Cai, Xiao Ye, Yu Ding etc. Most noticeably, Tim Moy who helped the team with hotel, cars (pick up/see off), supplementaries, dinnings, etc. Your effort is highly appreciated by all players, Tim. BinBing Wang, team CFO, who was able to manage our team fund to negative (-$100+) and bought water/ice, arranging misc. things for the team. And Zeng Ming, team assistant Captain, who not only showed greater potential marketing abilities, but also excellent management talents as well when managing sub'in and sub'out. It was a very busy and headache job. Definitely, family members/wives (Xiao Ye's, Zeng Ming's, Ray's newly bride, Tommy's girl, Dick's, Alex's 2 etc.) involvements made our team even more stronger. They cheered on the side lines for us, took care of all necessities for the team. I really felt like a BIG family with the one goal, i.e. 'To WIN'. Thanks. Games in Day 1 ============ Game 1: Dragon vs. Mud 1:1 Ken Li Game 2: Dragon vs. Tiger 0:1 Game 3: Dragon vs. TsingHua 2:0 Yi He and BinBing Wang Games in Day 2 ============ Playoff: Dragon vs. Chinese United (NY China town) 1:1 Dick Cai Penalty Kick 4:1 Yi He, Ray Han, Huan Li, Xiao Ye Semi-Final: Dragon vs. Mud 3:4 Yi He, JiLin Huang, JiLin Huang Celebration Party ============= This Saturday night team Dallas Dragon will have a celebration party at 'Red Lantern' Chinese restaurant (Zeng Ming is arranging it now) at 6:00 pm. Details to follow. Please join the team to celebrate if you could. Misc ==== One thing that still keeps on haunting me is a few player's playtime. In general it is OK, I think. A few players with less play time expressed their support for the team and myself, but I feel still responsible for it. Even though being my own 1st experience with such a tournament, I sincerely think it could have been done better. Please forgive me and I shall do it better next time. I am sorry. Sincerely. Summary ======= It has been a great experience to me as a captain as well as a player. Thanks to you all for making this LA tournament such a memorable one! We are a great bunch of players with passions, dedications, and team work. I thought I would be through after this tournament. But ....... I hope everyone shares my feelings as well. Your Very Very Honored Captain, - Chen Si
