For Dragon players going to LA, the best way to get your photo is to go to
our own Dragon web site, where most of us have pictures on it. Save your own
photo as an image file and send it as an attachment to szhang@nacsl.com with
your LA ID number, directly.

By the way, I do not have a schedule for this Sunday's game yet. By
tomorrow, I shall have it and will let the team know.

Go Dragons,
-Chen, Si

All LA tournament players:

1. Player Qualifications
========================
Please read following forwarded message and do exactly as it says. After
you
are done, please send me your ID number for the LA tournament so that I
can
put your name onto the 'Dallas Dragon' team roster. Otherwise, you may
not
able to play in LA! Thanks.

Please note that a scanned photo is required. If you need help, please
let
me know.

2. Roster Update
================
Last weekend was a superb weekend! We had a pretty good scrimmage game
and
Sunday practice. More importantly, we have additional SEVEN players just
being added to our LA team roster, much thanks to our GREATEST dentist's
(Zheng Ming) effort. And of course, wifes' support and understanding are
very appreciated indeed.

They are Tom Zheng, BinSong Ye, Ray Han, Huan Li, ZhengHong Lu, Chen
Zhang,
and Ken Li. Welcome aboard!!! It is going to a FUN trip. Now we have
total
of 26 players. YES!

3. Contact Numbers
==================
Again, please let myself or BinBing know how to get hold of you, either
your
contact number, or hotel name if you do not have a cell phone and who is
staying with you, so that we can always keep each other updated as a
TEAM.

For wifes' activity (such as shopping, touring, dinning etc.), Dick's
wife
will be the 'Director of Women Club' during the game days. Thanks, Dick.

4. Finance
==========
Now, with 26 players, BinBing Wang, our CFO, will have 30 x 26 - $350 =
$430
LA team fund to manage. I will be borrowing current Dragons' (in the
league
game) RED jersey for the LA trip, and return them CLEANED with small
part of
the fund. Any unused amount will be returned to each player. Or if we
get
into the finals, maybe we can have a celebration with it, BinBing? We
will
see then.

Currently paid players are:
LA Trip ($30)
-------------
1. Yu Ding
2. JiLing Huang
3. Mark Chen
4. BinBing Wang
5. Eric Zhang
6. Tim Moy
7. Jet Chang
8. Dick Cai
9. XiaoDong Luo
10. Gary Ho
11. YunFei Zhang
12. Yi He
13. Zheng Ming

Anyway, let's make this LA trip filled with wonderful memories.

Cheers,
-Chen, Si

Subject: [2001NT-captains] Player qualification

Hi, Captains:

The tournaments held in 1997 and 2000 brought disgrace
to the history of the Grand Tournament because of the
issues surrounding player qualification. To prevent
similar incidents from happening again, the organizing
committee of Grand 2001 has set forth the following
rules:

(1) To qualify, a player must look like Chinese and
speak Chinese. If a player is new to NACSL, he must
register at
http://www.nacsl.com/cgi/dm?l=csl&w=cfn-fl&fl=i. A
NACSL ID number will be issued upon registration.

(2) The captain must submit the names and NACSL ID
numbers of his players to Shangyou (szhang@nacsl.com)
by midnight Sunday, 8/26. The player photos for each
team will then be published on the NACSL site, and
printed out for game-day checking.

(3) It's the captain's responsibility for making sure
that each player on the team roster consents to
playing for the team. Absolutely no team-switching
during the tournament.

Let's all do our best to ensure a dispute-free
tournament.

Thanks.

-Jie Kang
On behalf of the organizing committee for Grand 2001
