Thanks Mark and BinBing for the hard work they had done for organizing this team, and Dentist's effort for the last push. I believe this will be a great fun experience everyone will enjoy. Due the volume of posts related to the LA trip will likely increase prior Labor Day, this list may not be appropriate for carrying out materials with such a narrow/short interest span. After talking with Mark, we decided to move all the LA trip discussion to a new email list, swsoccer@rsn.hp.com, the one had been used for organizing tournament teams over the years. The list will become active starting tomorrow. Posts related to the tournament will still be posted to this list, but posts on who will stay where and which restaurant to dine after the 1st game are probably no interests to none other than who will actually sleep and dine at LA over the labor day weekend:-) Though talk to Mark if you're just so interested in such topics, and we will certainly have no problem to put you on the list:-) On Mon, Aug 13, 2001 at 12:22:35PM -0500, Chen, Mark wrote: > 1. Last time we used the ex-WIND Blue uniform plus green put-ons, but not sure how many we can collect this time, either one. White? For the extras in the fund, my suggestion is to serve as the public fund to cover little expenses during the tournament: - ice, drinks, other refreshments - alot of sharing will occur on transportations, may be some reimbursement for each car The examples may not be exact, but based on the previous experience, there will be alot of purchasing for the team coming out of individual's pockets at any point of the two days, it's the kindness and unselfishness for the individual doing so(and they are likely not seeking payback), but it's the team's responsibility to find way to minimize such loses if all possible. CFO BinBing?:-) We can try to discussion more on that on the new list. Tom
