RE: 10th league game: Sunday 4:30 pm at Russell Creek Park #P, Plano

Another thing I think is very important is the moral. Think about the
last season's championship game, we were not better than our opponent,
but we had extremely high spirit, we won the game after we lost the goal
first.

It looks like everyone on our team tried very hard, but not really had
the high energy on the field. Guys, let's play as a team and play
together. Giving every player encouragement, and keep our spirit high...

Excellent analysis, Li Huan. The coming Sunday's game will decide if we
can clinch playoff bench or not. It is going to be a road game vs. ND 40
Thompson, the team we beat 3:2 last time.

Only one difference: we are a much 'loose' team with much weaker body
energy now, as compared to 3 games ago when we beat them. As a captain,
I really do not know how to fix that. More frequent substitutions on the
field may be A way to alleviate that problem. Any other suggestions?

This Sunday, let's all play the game as if it were a playoff game:

1) One-On-One for defenders and R/L mid-fielders, at least;

2) NO WALKing/STANDing on the field. If you choose to stand/walk, please
do it off the field;

3) If you are tired just a little, but do not want to be sub'ed out,
mark a man at least!!!

4) If you think you are not contributing or not in good mood, please
call sub, for the sake of team;

5) No personal hard feelings, win or loose.

How to prepare for it? Li Huan already said it. I think every player
also knows exactly what to do. We need to get stimulated and get
reasonably crazy in the upcoming game(s). Go Dragons....

As we expected after yesterday's game, we now move up
to #3 along with OBFC INT'L. Here are the latest
standings for top 6:

1. STANS NFC F.C 58 points 2 games left
2. Networkers 52 points 2 games left
3. Dragons 42 points 2 games left
4. OBFC INT'L 42 points 2 games left
5. ND 40 45 points 1 game left
6. ND 40 Thompson 33 points 2 games left

ND 40 will play with STANS on next Sunday. OBFC will
play with STANS on the coming Sunday. I think the
chance for STANS losing both games is very minimum.
Thus, our next game will be crucial to us. A win will
put us in a very good position for a playoff spot,
although it is not 100% for sure. We have to play at
our full strength on the coming Sunday and we cann't
afford to wait to the last minute. Theoritically
speaking, ND 40 Thompson still has chance to get into
playoff and it is their home game. Therefore, we
should be well prepared that it is going to be another
tough game. We should pay special attention to their
#7 and #10.

To my surprise, all our buddies including Networkers,
ND 40 Thompson, and Drillers tied their games vs.
STANS with same score 2:2. I felt ashamed, as a
defense
player, for giving up our game easily. With proper
tactics, we should have a close game. However, as long

as we can take a lesson from it, this might become an
advantage for us to meet them again in the playoff.

Man, its time for me to run laps again. Lets work
together to make it happen.

Go Dragons,

Huan
