Two-year degrees are acceptable if supported by appropriate data processing experience with specific development tools and languages. · Six to eight years overall data processing experience. 2+ years experience in object-oriented analysis, design and development of Java applications and UML methodologies. · Minimum of 3 years experience on relational database(s) and strong data modeling, triggers, stored procedures and SQL knowledge required. Experience with UDB (DB2) preferred, other relational database experience would be considered. · Advanced knowledge of Java programming, specifically J2EE architecture including hands-on knowledge of most of the following: EJB, JSP, Servlets, Applets, JDBC, XML and XML parsing, custom JSP tag libraries, JNDI, and RMI. · Working knowledge of IBM's Websphere Application Server and Visual Age for Java. · Working knowledge of UNIX (AIX) strongly preferred. · Proficient in estimating project requirements. · Experience with Websphere Commerce Suite 5.x a plus. · Certification as Java Developer a plus. · Ability to generate programs and design application systems in response to end-user requirements with the degree of complexity and responsibility increasing as experience is gained. Capable of providing guidance or supervision to junior programmers/analysts in development and testing of complex modules. · Ability to work with customers and/or business systems analysts to define customer requirements, create internal design documents, test plans, etc. · Team player; provide value to our customers, have a willingness to learn. Responsibilities · Provide technical expertise to design, code, and test moderate to highly complex applications systems with a Java focus. · Develop and test modules in response to design specifications and in adherence to departmental standards, with assistance from senior team members or with minimal to no direct supervision (depending on experience). · Design processing modules; generate internal and external design documents, technical specifications, test plans, system flows and other documentation. · Work with customers and/or business systems analysts to define customer requirements. · Create and execute test plans to ensure no errors remain prior to product delivery. · Provide and/or recommend training of subordinate team members in both technical skills and application systems. Also responsible for providing management an assessment of programming staff to assist in determining resource assignment for projects. · Support production processing, correcting program errors, documenting problems and fixes including rotating on-call support duties. · Maintain current, detailed knowledge of automated processing languages, techniques, software and hardware to serve design and development role. · Responsible for contributing to maintenance and development of departmental standards. · Responsible for technical review of candidates in hiring to assure presence of skills relative to stated experience. Qualifications: 5+ years customer service experience in transportation, retail, fast food, or other businesses with multi-unit operations, ability to work independently, (often under deadlines) ability to handle multiple task and large work loads, strong, broad experience in financial analysis, customer service, marketing/ merchandising and human resources, degree preferred. This is a Hardees Franchise Restaurant complete with a separate Drive Thru, Gift Shop and Food Cart operation.
