Dragons, I think I should give team an update on team fund. Please forgive me if you are concerned. >From last email I sent out last year (copied below), we have (or should have) $76.67 -$10 ("missing" Daniel's debt to team) = $66.67 balance from last season. This season we have 20 players (no including Xiao Yang), with $20 ($65 - $45) from each player, so team fund collected is $20 x 20 - $350 (referee fee) = $50. So now we have total of $116.67 for the team fund, to be spent on BEERs, balls, girls?, etc. Eric, please add Wang ZhiGao's email to our Dragon list. Welcome abroad, Wang ZhiGao. Team needs a striker like you to succeed in this division. Also, there are small talks about last Sunday's disastrous game. Please stop from now on. I believe that all players learned from it, and realized the hard lesson. Let's start to look forward to future games and team unity. We definitely shall disallow such a game from happening again. Next, I've 'sensed' is that our team spirit is not as high as it used to be. Maybe we need to keep our enthusiasm up by doing different things, such as encouraging teammates is one thing, or hosting a party (sounds good), or attending practices more often, arriving fields on time etc. Anyway, these are just my thoughts. Hope we all could have a good season. We showed all the teams in 30C division that we were the Champions and we still are the Champions. Wow............. Wow........... Wow!!! Congratulations to our team, to all our players, forwards, backwards, middlewards, starters, backups, goalie(s). It was a very tough and very very challenging, yet extremely exciting season for all of us. Team Dragon went all the way through, to the point where we got a Champion Trophy in this very special 30C division for Fall 2001 season. Despite all the economic downturns. Despite all the layoffs, threats. Despite all the injuries. Despite all distractions from LA tournament. Despite all the resistances from family. We, as a team, overcame the burdens and stood up proudly one more time as CHAMPIONs. Thanks for the supports from family (yes!), from x-Dragons, and friends. Much thanks to those 13+1/2 players who showed up on Sunday, 11/18/2001, fought really hard for the team, and brought the trophy back to the team!!! And my special solute to Li Huan who took over the team in the difficult situation. Go Dragons! What a dream coming true!!! Scott is honored (yes!) and well-deserved (yes again!) to host the famous Celebration Party at his NEW house this Saturday. Thanks, Scott. So please try every of your effort to make it. It is going to be fun. 1) BinBing has offered to make 'IT' up during the party; 2) Bai Qing's proposing 3-peat; (to be honest, not quite sure if he could show up for the party, even though BQ may say big YES; 3) I bring a bottle of Chinese wine to the party. 4) Wang Qi will show ....... Like Li Huan said, "What a thrilling and memorable experience for all of us". To add more memoriam to it, I have already ordered 21 trophies of 14' tall for all the players. Please look for your name in the attachments for detailed infomation. It would be shipped today and arrived next Monday. I am sure every player would love it. Again, it was a great season. I love the team, and I love you all. I have received constant support from most of the teammates. I apprecite that very much. I could not do it better with that kind of support. So enjoy the off-season, have a good rest, and spend more time with families on Sundays. We shall get ready and come back next Spring 2002. Go Dragons, - Chen, Si (972)461-4188 (W) PS, Team Fund Update: total $108 - $19.48 (1 soccer ball) - $25 (beer on one Sunday) + 10 (credit from one missing referee) - $206.85 (trophies) + 21 x $10 (to be colloected per player) = $76.67
