Second League Game: 1 PM Sunday at Highpoint Park

We are going to play vs. Net-Workers, a not very
physical team, this Sunday at 1 PM at Highpoint park,
which is located at NE corner of Alma & Spring Creek.
Please come to the field by 12:30 PM to have some time
to warm up. Lets play a better game and win this one.

We kicked off the season with a 0:0 game again, which
is a good start given that our team always start
slowly at the beginning due to lack of practice during

off-season. I believe many of us are still in
off-season mode and see less and less Dragon players
showing up in practice session on Tuesday night. Do we

lose our enthusiasm at all or what?

I truely believe that we have pretty good chance to
get
into playoff if we can keep the momentum. The first
seven games will be very important for us get a good
position for a playoff spot. We should focus on these
games and get best out of them since we know the other

three teams in the lower section of the division
pretty
well and they are no better than us. Game 3 through
game 5 will be crucial for us since ND40 Thompson and
Polaka may be our major competitors for the playoff
spot. Unlike last season, we can not wait toward the
end of season. I think our last three games may be the
toughest ones in this season. With that said, lets get
back into good shape as soon as possible. We may also
need to improve on other areas like attendance,
arrival
time, and not tossing out negative comments toward
teammate(s) on the field, which doesn't help at all
(while discussion after game may be helpful).

We did pretty well on following the referee's calls.
I gave that assistant referee lowest rank and provided
detailed comments to the league office. I also
requested the league office not to assign this guy
, named Fiedel, as referee/assistant referee to any
team Dragon's games in future. He ruined our game vs.
ND40 Thompson last season as the referee. He made
limited damage on us as the assistant referee last
Sunday. Hopefully, we will not see this guy any more.

Go Dragons,
