I went to the league office in lunch time and found out Chen Shi took another asset, the game schedule, away with him besides the team fund and the phone number of Conderey's captain -:). Luck or unluck, I arrived in the last minute while they are closing the door. They refused to provide me another hard copy. Fortunately, the soft copy may be available on NTPSA homepage within two days. Otherwise, Chen Shi may have chance to sell it back to the team from Taiwan -:). We are going to play against Drillers, our buddy, on this incoming Sunday at 1 PM at Webb Chapel park. I think we will wear red since they used to wear white. Please bring your white jersey as well just in case. I will send a reminder on Friday after making a double check with the schedule. Bus for car pool will be available at PRC and please arrive before 11:50 AM if you decide to take the car pool. I have trouble to attach the map of the field in the message and I will provide directions in the reminder. A couple of things to keep in mind: 1. Please try to arrive on time (12:30 PM sharp this time). Otherwise, you may not have sufficient time to warm up, help team to set up the net, and participate in the pre-game discussion, etc.. 2. If you has family obligation or can not make it due to injury, please let the captain know as early as possible. So the captain has some time to modify the game plan or at least is able to do some thing to make it up. We know we all play for fun, but this is minimum requirement for every member of this team once we decide to play with this team in the league from the point of view of respecting other members. 3. Please keep a copy of game schedule or team phone number list in your bag just in case you suddenly forget where you should go for the Sunday game in the last minute or you don't have access to your email at weekend. Looks like the home phone number list of the team becomes obsolete and the team may need your mobile phone number for contacting you on the road. Would you mind to send your home phone number as well as the mobile phone number to me? I will put them into a spread sheet and make it available for all team members for convenience. Motivation and being disciplined are two key factors for this team being successful in previous seasons. It will remain as the key factors for the team to keep the momentum up. In this season, we should position our team as one of weak teams in this division. However, Lets try our best with 100% effort and never blame each other for mistakes on or off field. We could have another successful season. For the new players, please spend a little time to go through the game rules briefly on NTSPA homepage. As far as I remeber, some of us get the yellow card in their first league game. BTW, I get the jerseys for Frank and Li Wei (they cost $44 from each of you). You need to get the shorts, socks, shinguard, and soccer shoe by youself. Please rember to bring all of these stuff with you to the game this Sunday, otherwise, you may not be allowed to play by the referee.
