The difference between 9x9 and 11x11 is significant.
11x11 is a full court play. You will need two dedicated goalies and you will use the full-size goal and you can shot at any range you can.
You will need peope stick to their position in order to avoid free form of chasing the ball. You will need forwards and mid-fields and it requires extensive
running that most people can't do in 30 minutes. But it is more close to real game.

9x9 is the limit of half-court scrimmage. No goalie needed. The goal is much smaller. players have more touches with the ball. Since the court is smaller,
you will find yourself more fit running around. It could be more intensive. But in general, it's more causal and fun-play than the full court competition.
It can be a better workout.
