Man, you guys are up quite earlier, BQ and Dong Jian. We are doing pretty fine right now. Do not look at the standings, it is not final yet, of course. We, having 36 pts with 7 games played and 3 games left, will be facing Drillers with 37 pts, Networkers #1 standings, and Red stripes (37pts). Well, actually these four teams will play together in the last three remaining games! Therefore, I am really confident about our team's ability to advance into the playoffs, especially with current team strategy enhancements. The most important thing is to keep on having all players present and to execute what we have planned. Namely, communications and assistings between midfielder and forwarder would be the area we can improve seriously. Passing back balls to assist midfielder in scoring. So let's all keep on goals up ahead and take one game at a time. Just a brief comments on last Sunday's game vs United SC. We played with the 1st game with them and all of us were so glad that the game ended with 0:0 finally with 70%+ their ball possessions. Last Sunday we played with them again and all of us felt that the game ended tooooo soon and we had 65%+ ball possessions. That is the improvement team has made. With a little bit more of endeavors, we will be a great team! Anyway, this Thursday at 8:00pm we will have our regular team practices. Hopefully we can grap one of those two 7-7 fields next to the PRC buildings, so that we can focus more on midfield-forward communications. Please let the team know if you can not show for the practice and be on time. -Chen, Si (972)461-4188 -----Original Message----- From: John Dong [mailto:johndong@microsoft.com] Sent: Tuesday, October 09, 2001 8:33 AM To: Qiang Bai; sbao@cisco.com Cc: Chen, Mark; dragon@ez.swmed.edu Subject: RE: 7th Sunday League Game: 2:30pm at High Point #E, Plano vs United SC With my presence, dragon has the best record in the team history (of course, with Mark's help!), and I am proud to work with the team to the next level - playoff. Just like our national team just have done. But we also realized that we might encounter some frustrations and temporary failures during our effort, especially certain individual's personal issue...My words are that we should ignore these irresponsible comments which might destroy team moral, and keep our spirit high to the playoff, we're united! -- Team coach -----Original Message----- From: Qiang Bai [mailto:qbai@hotmail.com] Sent: Tuesday, October 09, 2001 8:24 AM To: John Dong; sbao@cisco.com Cc: MChen@santera.com; dragon@ez.swmed.edu Subject: RE: 7th Sunday League Game: 2:30pm at High Point #E, Plano vs United SC Sure, all those former Chinese national team coaches, such as "No Sound Tear", ..., they can all say the same thing.
