I agree. We should have at least one of the weekday for practice, which is controlable in time and injure.
Any one else is welcome to join us if (s)he obeys the our rule. And there are enought people for others to play. It will be different story after season.

Agree that we should not alienate any groups of peoples, especially most of them are good friends, even they are not in the Dragon team.
Disagree that play chaos is caused by frequent location and time changes. The matter of fact is, we just have too many players in the field.
So having a dragon team practice in one of the weekday, ( we still have a all-together practice either on Tuesday or Thursday) will solve this problem.
If you have the energy and interest, you can play both days.

It has been a failure to force play rules in this community, as we all have seen. Unfortunately soccer somewhat is a disiplined team game. Freedom won't
  bring you much fun.

Please voice your opinions on this.

All,I share the same feelings as Scott has. Li Huan also has similar concerns regarding the chaos for quite some times, I think. The reasons are due to the frequently changing play locations and times, etc. Now those are all fixed. However, since 70% of the current players in practices are from team Dragon (including Dragon veterans), we really do not want to introduce any alienations or hostilities from the rest of soccer community. This is my major concern.I want to hear what rest of Dragons' thoughts are on this. BQ already expressed his.Enforcing the timing rules on practices shall help out the situation a lot, I think. Not just myself, anybody can enforce it.-Chen, Si

I always think Dragon team needs a private pratice session. That's how we know eachother better
and improve the level of play, and more discipline and fun, of course.
We can choose Thursday if the mass will be on Tuesday. Also the closed team practice can open to
2~5 guest players if the number is a problem. ( we have around 20 players. If more than half can show up, say 12. with
4 guest players, an 8x8 scrimage will be an ideal. )

Guest players: must play at the level higher than the norm of the team. Veteran priority.

      -ps:

It has been troubling the way we having our practice, particularily on Sunday. With 30 or more players in the field without an even split,
I can hardly imagine it is fun any more.

Soccoer is a matchup and position game. If player running in the field without the concept of his position, we just become a bunch of kids playing on
the street with chaos. If you see more than 2 players chasing the ball simultaneously, something is wrong. And you can figure out the level of play.

The idea of the scrimage is to have more fun and improve. I think we can achieve that with a private session for the team.

Wang Qi, they meant two sessions on one practice! I think... Either day is fine with me. However, Thuresday 6:00pm is out of the question. So it looks like we have to choose Tuesday then.

The risk for two sections is that most people will go to thursday section except the walleyball guys. The tuesday section may become impossible. How about just tuesday?

Personally prefer Thursday. Maybe we could have two sessions to accomondate different schedule.
( an 18 by 18 scrimage in the small field is just too many players. )

As some of you had known, we need to move our Wed. night game,
dueto the sudden enforcement from the city(no soccer practices on Wed
                and Fri).
Two options, Tuesday or Thursday nights, or may be both. Let's
                see the votes.

My personal vote is tuesday night, and if it has to be thursday,
I'd like to see an earlier starting time, e.g., 6pm, so I may
still have the chance for the walleyball game:-)
